On June 17, 2010, Planet Aid placed its first boxes in the Fort Mill area of South Carolina. Currently there are 4 Planet Aid clothing donation bins located in the Fort Mill area, a South Carolina suburb of Charlotte, NC. By the end of 2010, Planet Aid anticipates having close to 50 clothing donation bins reaching as far as Rock Hill, SC; and over the course of the next two years, we are looking to expand as far as Columbia and Greenville, SC.
Names in a Hurry, located on Fortt Mill Highway in Fort Mill, SC, was the site of the very first bin to be placed within South Carolina. Owners Mr. and Mrs. Kiser are very excited to take part in our program and especially excited to know they are the first business owners to host a bin in their state.
We believe that our program will greatly benefit the citizens of South Carolina who will be able to recycle their clothes and shoes for the greater good.
