Humana People to People
Planet Aid is a member of the Federation Humana People to People. A Swiss-based organzation operated from Zimbabwe, the Federation comprises 32 national associations, effectively uniting more than 330 projects in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Empowering Individuals and Families
More than 12 million people in 43 countries are involved in or impacted by these projects on a yearly basis. For more than 30 years, the Federation as been helping empower individuals and families to improve their living conditions and livelihoods, providing them with the needed resources and know-how while encouraging cooperation. Working together with people in some of the poorest areas of the world, the Federation is developing the capacity of communities to build a brighter future.
Turning Dreams into Actionable Goals
The Humana People to People Movement places itself at the frontline of the struggle for development. The movement is based on the understanding of people as the decisive force in creating development. Members of the Federation employ more than 9,000 staff worldwide. The people engaged in Humana People to People’s development efforts are trained and equipped with tools and knowledge enabling them to transform their dreams and wishes for a better world into actionable goals. In response to the pressing issues facing mankind, members of the Federation implement a number of programs addressing various developmental sectors. They include education, community development, fighting HIV & AIDS, agriculture, food security and protection of the environment.
