Planet Aid Sponsors the MassRecycle Conference
Planet Aid is returning as a Silver sponsor for this year's MassRecycle Conference, taking place on Tuesday, March 18, at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trade Center in Marlboro, MA. As a pioneering recycling 
organization founded in Massachusetts, the MassRecycle partnership was a natural fit to promote Planet Aid's accessible textile collection options (donation bins, curbside pick-up, and donation centers) to Massachusetts residents.
MassRecycle is a pragmatic, non-partisan, Massachusetts-based non-profit coalition dedicated to improving sustainable materials management, recycling, and reducing and diverting organics to benefit the climate, economy, communities, and the environment.
The Conference
The conference brings together professionals from the solid waste and recycling industries, Massachusetts municipalities, colleges, universities, and nonprofits, providing a unique opportunity to network and discuss policies, regulations, solutions, and innovations. It will also feature interactive roundtable discussions with experts offering practical guidance and cutting-edge solutions. Additionally, conference attendees can visit exhibitors' tables for insights about sustainable resources.
Speakers and Panels
Massachusetts' first-ever Climate Chief, Melissa Hoffer, will be the keynote speaker for the event! Hoffer served as the Acting General Counsel and Principal Deputy General Counsel of the Environmental Protection Agency under the Biden Administration. As Climate Chief for Massachusetts, Hoffer promotes climate innovation and advocates for policies that address climate change mitigation, adaptation, and resilience. She also ensures that the state’s climate commitments are fulfilled while leading the development of Massachusetts' climate policy.
