In honor of Earth Day, Planet Aid staff participated in Howard County's 20 Minute Cleanup for the third year. The 20 Minute Cleanup is an annual county-wide spring cleaning/Earth Day project. Businesses, schools, community groups, neighbors, and individuals in Howard County, Maryland are encouraged to spend at least 20 minutes picking up litter to keep the county and earth clean.
Twelve staff members spent time cleaning up trash around the Elkridge office park on the morning of Friday, April 21. They collected a total of 10 trash bags, which weighed 62 pounds. Here are a few photos from the adventure:
