On March 27, 2017, representatives from Planet Aid attended MassRecycle's 2017 R3 Conference held at Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center.
MassRecycle is a statewide nonprofit coalition of individuals, municipalities, recycling businesses, and other organizations that are dedicated to increasing recycling and waste reduction in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The event is the biggest annual recycling and organics gathering in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and one of the biggest state conferences in the nation. It included a full day of educational workshops and discussions on issues that affect recycling, reuse, and waste reduction, and provided a venue to convene individuals from all sectors. Over 400 participants and 70 exhibitors attended the event.
"We value the opportunity we had to attend the conference and connect with other organizations that have the same mission as ours of saving the environment. Our representatives learned a lot and met some outstanding individuals that we hope to work with in the near future, in order to increase recycling and reduce waste in our area," said Planet Aid Operations Manager Keith Gregory.
