Planet Aid donated a shipment of toys to Libertae in Bensalem. The shipment included toys, baby strollers, high chairs, play pens, and baby swings. "Each year Liberate serves between 60-70 kids," said Kathy Kurtin, Associate Director. The children are served through the Family House program at Libertae. This long-term residential program helps women who are pregnant and/or parenting and whose addiction symptomatology is demonstrated by severe impairment of daily life functioning. The program also includes a fully licensed, therapeutic childcare center. For more information visit the Libertae website.
