Planet Aid facilities are supporting local homeless shelters during the intense cold snap that is gripping parts of the country. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette helped out in spreading the word in asking individuals to donate coats, blankets, sleeping bags for the homeless.
Homeless from the McKeesport Downtown Housing and Homeless Shelter recently received warm clothing from a Planet Aid truck (see pictures from Pittsburgh Post Gazette). Another donor provided $120 worth of pizzas for the shelter lunch during the giveaway.
