Through fun activities and lessons for all ages, we’ll show how simple actions can make a lasting difference for the environment. Let’s celebrate the season by giving back to our planet!
December Eco-Challenge: Recycled Cheer - Ornament Challenge
Let’s bring the holiday spirit to life while helping the planet! This month, your challenge is to create beautiful, festive ornaments using recycled materials from around your home.
Here’s how to participate:
- Gather your supplies! Look for recyclable items like paper, cardboard, bottle caps, old fabric, or even natural materials like pinecones and twigs.
- Get creative! Turn those materials into an amazing ornament that could hang on a tree or decorate your home.
- Snap a picture of your finished ornament.
- Submit your photo and a brief description of what you used to create your ornament by December 31st, 2024.

The Planet Aid Scholar's Club launched the 2024-25 school year. Join the club for free environmental lesson plans, activities, book reviews AND eco-challenges with chances to win cool prizes.
Schools also partner with Planet Aid to collect used clothes and shoes. Learn how your school can fundraise and give students real-world experience helping reduce textile waste in the U.S.
