The holiday season is here—a time for joy and giving—but it’s also when waste increases by 25%!
This December, Planet Aid’s Scholar's Club invites students to explore sustainability with the theme Giving Back to the Planet. Through fun activities and lessons for all ages, we’ll show how simple actions can make a lasting difference for the environment. Let’s celebrate the season by giving back to our planet!
December Eco-Challenge: Recycled Cheer - Ornament Challenge
Let’s bring the holiday spirit to life while helping the planet! This month, your challenge is to create beautiful, festive ornaments using recycled materials from around your home.
Here’s how to participate:
- Gather your supplies! Look for recyclable items like paper, cardboard, bottle caps, old fabric, or even natural materials like pinecones and twigs.
- Get creative! Turn those materials into an amazing ornament that could hang on a tree or decorate your home.
- Snap a picture of your finished ornament.
- Submit your photo and a brief description of what you used to create your ornament by December 31st, 2024.
Remember, every small action can lead to a big impact!
